We provide the full range of General Practice services. Some of these services require a consultation with a GP for discussion prior to booking.
We are not a registered immigration services provider and therefore are unable to provide immigration medicals, or to order any testing in relation to immigration medicals.

Specialty Services
Our specialty services are available to everyone. You do not need to be an enrolled patient to access these.
Travel Medicine
Travel medicine services are provided by our travel nurse, Sandy Yip, who has completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Travel Medicine through the University of Otago. Sandy will review your travel plans, recommend vaccines, provide advice for safe travel, and arrange for any back-pocket prescriptions that may be recommended. Our GPs are available to assist Sandy with travel medicine enquiries as required.
To make an appointment, please complete the pre-travel form linked here at least 4 weeks prior to your departure, and we will be in contact to book you in for our travel clinic. Please fill one form per traveller.
Fees for Travel Medicine Services:
Travel Consultation – $145
Travel Consultation (couple) – $185.00
Travel Consultation (family of 4) – $255
Fees for individual vaccines will be quoted during your initial phone call after we have reviewed your pre-travel form.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not currently administer the yellow fever vaccine. The authorised providers of the yellow fever vaccine in our region are Mana Travel Clinic, Worldwise Palmerston North, and Wellington Travel Clinic (please note the Wellington clinic is only open on Wednesdays).
Dive Medicine
Dr Douglas Kingsford is a WorkSafe designated diving doctor, authorised to perform Occupational Diving Medical Examinations. He offers both Occupational Diving Medical Examinations and PADI (hobby/leisure) Diving Medical Examinations at the practice.
Fees for Dive Medicine Services:
Occupational Diving Medical Examination – $825.00
PADI Diving Medical Examination – $440.00
The above fees include spirometry (breathing test) and audiometry. We partner with Kapiti Hearing to provide audiometry as a part of this service.
Depending on the result of your medical examination, further testing may be required (such as a chest x-ray). The cost of any additional tests is not included in the above fee.

-If you have ever had a significant illness or injury, in particular affecting lungs, chest, heart, ears or head, please bring all of the information you have regarding this.

Ingrown Toenail Surgery
A toenail wedge resection is a minor surgical procedure for ingrown toenails to permanently remove a wedge of the affected toenail. All patients will require an initial appointment for the GP to review the affected toenail/s and discuss the procedure, a second appointment for the surgery to take place (30-45minutes), and a series of follow-up bookings with our nurse to review the wound.
Fees – payment is required at the time of service:
- Initial appointment: standard consultation rates apply.
- Surgery and follow-up package (one toenail): $520
- Surgery and follow-up package (two toenails): $620
